What story do you want to tell? Think about it ... because the stories we tell often become the stories we believe and the stories we live out.

Future Plans: I am going to find a job to further my experience in my field, so I am able to apply to a master's program in the future!
Favorite MASP Memory: PEAC was my favorite experience out of my four years at CU. I got to experience an almost empty campus and learn all about it while making new friends and adjusting to a new environment.
Advice for younger MASPians: "Take it day by day and soak it in. They're not kidding when they say it goes by fast."

Dear Alexa,
Congratulations for achieving yet another milestone. First though, I want to take you down memory lane.
I don’t quite remember meeting you, but we’ve been best friends since day one. There are many pictures documenting how much you took care and protected me. We never really realize how lucky we are to have been only children and for both our moms to have had girls. And only 9 months apart?
A part of me is glad you were born first. You’ve always been the first to experience anything intimidating. The first to experience something fun and recommend me to it. And most importantly, the first to create a path for me to follow. I’ll never randomly admit it, but you’re my role model.
I remember each time you moved on to the next grade and had to leave school, I would have to spend a year alone, but you were out experiencing new things to prepare me for. I remember looking at you when we were younger and realizing how smart you were, and you have demonstrated nothing more.
This past year we became roommates and it was the most fun I’ve had in such a long time. I became so attached to you, and every time I think of someone replacing the space in your room in our apartment, I can’t help but get sad. Each time that I had to spend a year at school without you, I looked forward to seeing you again, but this isn’t the case anymore. You’re moving on to create a better future for yourself and for our family. You’re moving on to create yet another path for everyone around you to follow.
I am so extremely proud of you becoming a college graduate. I feel like you have dreamt of this for so long, and all your dreams are finally becoming a reality. You are nothing but inspiring to everyone around you. You have overcome every obstacle put in front of you and you have done it with such dignity and pride. I have seen everything you’ve had to deal with in your life, but it has made you so much stronger.
I’m proud of you. You’re like the sister I never got and am so happy to see you succeed. I know there are so many good things in store for you and am right here behind you.
Otters always hold hands when they sleep so that they never drift apart from each other. So, I’ll be here, holding your hand forever.
I love you so much,
Christy
