“MASP gives us a sense of community and it feels like one big family.” – Jubilee and Dayzy

2019 Mini-PEAC Students Laughing Together

“In MASP, I feel like I am in an environment where I am accepted. There is no judgment about my ethnicity or any other part of my background. Instead, it is a place where I have met some of my best friends that I hope to keep even after college.” – Zoe

“My favorite part about MASP is the community it provides me. I know that I will always have a network of support from my peers and the faculty. MASP has given me a place where I feel like I can fit in no matter what.” – Veronica

PEAC 2020 cohort posing for a group photo

“As a first year student I joined PEAC with the expectation that I would gain the knowledge I needed to survive college. What I was not expecting was to find myself surrounded by a supportive network of faculty, staff, and students that not only created an atmosphere conducive to my social and personal growth, but remained unwavering in encouraging my intellectual development as well.”

CU LEAD Alliance

MASP is part of the CU LEAD Alliance, a unique set of academic learning communities whose students, faculty and staff are united to promote inclusive excellence. These “academic neighborhoods” build camaraderie and promote student success during the first-year and throughout students’ four years through a rich array of:

  • cohort experiences
  • participation scholarships
  • academic enrichment activities
  • community-building activities

*If you are interested in MASP but you are not entering or enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences, please explore the CU LEAD Alliance to find the program most suited to your journey.
