Jona Koka

Jona Koka was born in Albania and lived in Greece until her family relocated to New Bedford, MA in 2004. She attended the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Dartmouth, where she double majored in Chemistry and Economics. While at UMass Dartmouth, Jona had the opportunity to work in the lab of David Manke, where her research focus was on the synthesis of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOF) for carbon dioxide capture. Jona is currently working on the anthraquinone fuel cell project.
