Kathryn DesCombes

Kathryn works at the intersection of strategy and compassion.

With a background in consulting, Kathryn has worked in a variety of contexts, spanning organization type—including nonprofit, start-up, enterprise, and government-funded—and industry—including education, apparel, and life sciences. Although their context differed, each experience affirmed: in leadership, as in life, relationships are at the center.

Her reverence for the process of learning spurred her return to higher education. As the Community Engagement and Leadership Development Coordinator, Kathryn collaborates with staff, faculty, and students to develop leaders of character at the University of Colorado.
