Colin G. West

Colin G. West is an alumnus of CU Boulder, where he studied engineering physics and applied mathematics and received a certificate in leadership from the Presidents’ Leadership Class. He received his MA and PhD from the Yang Institute for Theoretical Physics at Stony Brook University for work on quantum many-body physics. Dr. West was an HHMI-postdoctoral fellow at UC Santa Cruz before joining the physics department at CU Boulder in 2018. He continues to publish work in quantum physics and in physics education research and is involved in various programs to promote science communication and scientific outreach.
