Takitushun aywakullashun: Music & Dance Workshop by Dr. Candy Hurtado from the Kuyayky Foundation

Candy Hurtado, a renowned Peruvian-born musician, dancer, artist, and Andean scholar at Florida Atlantic University, will lead an interactive workshop on Andean cultural traditions. Candy will demonstrate percussion and wind instruments, sing traditional songs, and teach dance steps from the Andean culture.  She will also host a Q&A about any aspect of Andean culture, from music and dance to festivals and other cultural traditions. Experience the Andean sense of community and connection and deepen the knowledge learned during the week-long event."
