Marisa is a third-year Ph.D. student from Brooklyn, New York. She graduated with a B.S. in Physics from Stony Brook University, where she conducted research on radiation detectors and plasma-based particle accelerators. At NGPDL, she develops simulation methods for studying kinetic plasma dynamics in atmospheric entry flows.
