Catherine is in her fourth year studying Environmental Engineering with a minor in Global Engineering. She will be joining Emma Stine and Professor Amy Javernick-Will on their team, researching to discover more about Engineering for Social Justice, for the 2022/2023 school year.

At CU, she is involved in the club Engineers Without Borders on Team Rwanda. Her team works to build rainwater catchment systems in rural communities of Rwanda to provide them with easier access to water. She is involved in this club to become familiar with global and sustainable development projects happening around the world, as well as to help rural communities by applying her engineering and teamwork skills. She is passionate about learning how to develop global solutions to improve the health and sanitation of the developing world.
