Tristan Peters

  • JEWISH STUDIES 2013
Intern for Defense Attorney's Office in Parker, CO
Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies, 2013

Tristan graduated in May 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts in both Jewish Studies and Sociology.

During his time here at CU, Tristan completed a Capstone project which analyzed victim's rights in Israel and the United States. His primary focus was the comparison of how each country deals with important issues such as when a person is a victim of a crime and what their rights are.

Tristan's capstone project has directly impacted his present and future endeavors. Tristan is currently an intern at both the Boulder County District Attorney's office and a defense attorney's office in Parker, Colorado. He also serves as a mentor at the Boulder County Community Justice Center for a troubled youth. Tristan is applying for law school which he hopes to begin Fall 2014.

Tristan states, "My advice to students interested in Jewish Studies is that there is always something new to learn. It does not matter how much you think you may know about Jewish Studies and Judaism. The program at CU always has something more to offer."
