Beverly Weber attended the 2016 Silberman faculty seminar at the USHMM, "Jewish Responses to the Holocaust: Teaching through Primary Sources." 

She also conducted research this summer for her current book project on race and racism in the language of human rights; several articles from this project, focused on the German refugee crisis, will be published later this year. She recently published two additional articles: “Kübra Gümüşay, Muslim Digital Feminism and the Politics of Visuality in Germany” in Feminist Media Studies (to be reprinted as well in Digital Feminisms. Transnational Activism in German Protest Cultures), and “Precarious Intimacies and Yoko Tawada’s Europe” in the Journal of Critical Ethnic Studies
