Sasha Senderovich, Assistant Professor of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures and Jewish Studies, presented a paper on writers Gary Shteyngart, Anya Ulinich, and David Bezmozgis at the conference "The New Wave of Russian-Jewish Cultural Production" organized by Columbia University's Harriman Institute for Russian, Eurasian, and East European Studies in New York, in December 2014.
In late January 2015, he will present at the conference "The Art of Cultural Translation: Performing Jewish Traditions in Modern Times" organized by the Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies at the University of Oxford, UK.
