Call for Papers: Doctoral Colloquium Pre-Conference of the International Society for Media, Religion and Culture in Seoul, Korea

The International Society of Media, Religion & Culture will be hosting its inaugural Doctoral Colloquium this year! It will provide doctoral students the opportunity to present their research, receive feedback from leaders in the field, discuss theoretical, methodological and professional challenges, as well as network with other peers.

This forum will convene on the 1st of August, from 9:00am to 2:00pm, before the main conference begins. Students will be picked up from the conference hotel to Hanyang University where they will interact with senior mentors. There is no additional cost to attend this colloquium and participants will also be provided with a free lunch at the University cafeteria.

Interested students should prepare a) a research statement (1,000 words maximum) to provide a context for your work, methods used, progress to date, and primary challenges and concerns and b) an interest statement (200 words maximum) to indicate your reasons for participation and what you hope to get out of this forum. All materials are to be prepared in English and are due on or before 15th of December 2015.
