- Assistant Director for Engagement
I have been working at CU since November 2018. I serve as the Assistant Director for Student Engagement, overseeing our engagement team (aka programming and events team) within CSI. My team also serves to advise many of the student programming boards on campus including Cultural Events Board, Distinguished Speakers Board, CUSG Homecoming Student Coalition, Program Council, and Senior Class Council (which I directly advise). My team also oversees two unique spaces within the University Memorial Center – the Dennis Small Cultural Center and the Alienware Buffalo Esports and Gaming Lounge. I bring a lot of experience with advising and hosting campus events of all size/scale and am always happy to talk about new ways to engage students and enhance the student experience.
I am from the Jersey Shore (yes like the tv show, and no that’s not what its always like), and a huge lover of all things nerdy and geeky. Outside of work, I’m usually at the movies, expanding my comic book collection, playing video games or cooking/baking. While on campus, you can probably find me in my office, in the Alienware Buffalo Esports and Gaming Lounge, or around campus at an event, but my favorite place on campus will always be Williams Village and Williams Village East specifically. If I were a superhero, my superpower would definitely be superspeed (assuming I could have the full extended powerset of a certain DC superhero even though I prefer Marvel Comics).
