Join the peer mentorship program that’s for both developing and experienced student leaders. Whether you want to share your experience as a mentor or gain insights as a mentee, Bloom pairs you with an emerging or seasoned student leader for the academic year. You'll share tips, map out goals and help each other thrive!

Grow, Connect and Develop  

The Bloom Peer Mentor Program matches students who are stepping into new executive roles in their clubs or organizations, like president, VP, treasurer and more, with peers who’ve already spent at least a year in similar positions.

The main goal of Bloom? To help all students build genuine connections on campus and grow essential, professional skills that will serve you here at CU Boulder and after graduation. 

Requirements and Expectations 

To make the most of this program, students are expected to meet certain eligibility requirements and uphold standards of engagement, accountability and mutual respect throughout the academic year. 

  Mentor requirements  

  • Must have held an executive position in their student organization/program for at least a year   
  • Must be able to commit for the whole academic year  
  • Must be active in their organization (holding a position or simply being a member)   

  Mentee requirements  

  • Must either be in a new executive position or interested in pursuing one in the future  
  • Must be able to commit to the program for the whole academic year   

  Expectations  

Mentors and mentee pairs should: 

  • Meet two times per month, with meetings lasting at least one hour 
  • Check in consistently with their partner  
  • Participate in leadership development workshops/events of their choosing  
  • Attend the mentor/mentee kick-off and end-of-year celebrations
