Alumni Student Mentoring Program

Chemical & Biological Engineering alumni are able to impart advice and information on career options and professional etiquette to current students.
 


 

Biomedical Engineering Society & Colorado Bioscience Assocation

The purpose of this program is to pair junior/senior level university students with an etablisehd professional in their field of study. They can help students with professional development, career advice and guidance, networking, and workforce pipeline development. Students rate the CBSA program 4.4/5 because more than 63% of jobs are obtained through personal networking.


 

Catalyze CU

Catalyze CU is an 8 week, summer startup accelerator designed for CU Students and Faculty. Catalyze CU combines world class mentorship and equity free grants with the University’s most promising ideas and technologies. Through this combination, Catalyze CU provides the driving force to make these ideas and technologies succeed.


 

Guardian Scholars Community Mentor

Guardian Scholars is a unique program within the University’s TRiO Student Support Services Program that specifically meets the needs of CU-Boulder students who experienced foster care. The program serves as a resource for students, assisting in their personal and academic development and strengthening their skills and connecting them to resources necessary to become successful graduates of the University of Colorado.

New Venture Challenge Mentors

The New Venture Challenge (NVC) is CU Boulder’s cross-campus entrepreneurship championship. It is an entrepreneurial flight simulator, giving folks in the CU Boulder community a chance to explore starting a business while learning about the process through events, workshops and mentors.


 

Professional Mentorship Program

The Leeds School of Business Professional Mentorship Program (PMP) is a unique program that partners Leeds undergraduate and MBA students with business professionals on a local and national level. The program's mission is to enhance business education at the Leeds School by offering hands-on learning, professional skills development, leadership opportunities, and a sense of connection and community among current students, Leeds alumni, and corporate partners.


 

Young Alumni Mentors Program

The Leeds Young Alumni Mentors Program connects sophomore students to recently graduated Leeds alumni. Students and mentors work through a series of milestones including self-assessments, curricular choices, career exploration, and professional skills development.
