Research Interests:
Michael’s research interests primarily involve investigating the ways in which linguistic insight can augment and inform state of the art approaches to language processing. He is particularly interested in applying modern NLP techniques to low-resource languages and signed languages.
Bio:
Michael is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in linguistics, advised by Prof. Mans Hulden and Prof. Alexis Palmer. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
