TEDxCU is proud to announce 2019’s theme: Push & Pull. Life pulls you down many paths that you simply could never predict. Being able to push back against hardships and adversities helps many continue on and prosper on their unique life journeys. Ten speakers will share their own stories of defeat, perseverance and growth.

TEDxCU 2019 will be held April 5 in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom. Tickets are now available online. Students are free with a $10 deposit that is reimbursed when you present a valid Buff OneCard. Early-bird pricing for non-students and community members is $20.

Interested in showcasing your own talent?

TEDxCU is looking for performers to perform in between speakers. TEDxCU is looking for musicians, dancers, actors and more to perform at the event. All kinds of acts are welcome to apply! Applications are due March 5.

The speakers this year are a wide range of CU community members with diverse experiences unified under our theme: Brent Cary, Elizabeth Skewes, Hillary Allen, Katharine Suding, Leanne Jewell, Maigh Kaur Jammu, Patrick Devenny, Ross Taylor, Will Day and Yuko Munakata.

About TEDx

x = independently organized TED event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations). At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection.
