works displayed at exhibition in CU Art Gallery

Students in Professor Greaney’s graduate course on concrete art and concrete poetry curated an exhibition in the CU Art Museum.

The exhibition OBJECT:COLOR brings together seven artists’ works that are unified by the use of basic compositional elements—line, shape, and color—to influence the viewer’s experience of the artworks’ physical limits and their relationship to surrounding space.

The exhibition includes works from the CU Art Museum Collection and the Norlin Library Special Collections by the artists Josef Albers, Daniel Buren, Ángela de la Cruz, Gunther Gerzso, Callum Innes, Sol LeWitt, and Dieter Roth.

OBJECT:COLOR was curated by Eduardo Bello, Sean Bray, Justin Harris, Nina Melovska, Joseph Steele, and Seth Thomas. It is on view until September 2019. For more information, visit the CU Art Museum website.
