CU Interfraternity Council Recruitment
CUIFC chapters recruit new members during both the fall and spring semesters. Fall is the primary time for recruitment, with chapters following a formal process. Recruitment in the spring is still structured but more informal. Outside of these two formal periods, chapters can recruit and extend bids for membership at any time.
Fall Recruitment
Fall is the primary recruitment period. Specific dates are shared over the summer, and before the start of the fall semester. Potential new members will need to sign up via a registration form and pay a recruitment fee.
After a recruitment kickoff event, open house rounds will occur during the first two weeks. Any potential new member can attend any chapter's events. Some chapter events might overlap with each other, but most chapters have multiple events throughout the open house period. After the open house period, each chapter has a designated night and time for the invite-only round. Chapters will send out invites to select potential new members to attend these events. After invite-only rounds conclude for the whole community, bids can be extended. CUIFC welcomes new members with a Bid Day celebration.

Spring Recruitment
In the spring, potential new members complete an interest form to participate in recruitment events. The process is like what potential new members experience during the fall semester, with a Bid Day celebration to welcome new members.
