Mandy Cole named associate vice chancellor for budget and finance

Todd Haggerty, vice chancellor for finance and business strategy, announced Mandy Cole as associate vice chancellor for budget and finance, effective September 9, 2024.

Cole joined CU Boulder in August 2021 and has been leading the Budget & Fiscal Planning department. In her new role, she will have oversight and direction of both Budget & Fiscal Planning and the Campus Controller’s Office. Julie deFalco, campus controller, will report directly to Cole.

“Mandy’s expanded role will be crucial to Finance and Business Strategy and campus, ensuring delivery of financial transformation outcomes aligned with campus priorities,” said Haggerty.

Cole brings experience in all parts of budget operation and management. Prior to CU, she held positions as assistant vice president for operational strategy and associate director of the budget office at Kansas State University.
