Laura Ragin, Assistant Vice Chancellor and Controller, has announced the Bursar’s Office will be separating from the Campus Controller’s Office and moving under Enrollment Management, effective June 1, 2019. Enrollment Management is comprised of the Office of Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, and the Office of the Registrar. Campus Bursar, Brett Cassell, will report to Gwen Pomper, Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management.

This move will provide opportunities for the university to:

  • Enhance the significant role of the Bursar’s Office in ensuring our students’ success along the continuum of student enrollment, starting with recruitment of our students and continuing until graduation.
  • Build on the strong connection with the Offices of Financial Aid, Admissions, and Registrar to ensure that the student experience is seamless. Joining all four teams together will maximize the benefits of collaboration across these teams as they support students and the campus.
  • Benefit from the co-location of these four offices in the Regent Administrative Center and continuously work together to ensure that student information systems are configured to serve our students and the campus well.

Although the Bursar’s Office will no longer be reporting directly to the Campus Controller’s Office, they will continue to work together in regard to student accounting and other related financial processes for the Boulder campus.
