Sofia Mvokany received her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2021 while simultaneously working as a research assistant for the Wireless and Electromagnetic (WiDE) lab. To deepen her knowledge in the topic, she joined the RF and Electromagnetics Group at CU Boulder as an undergraduate research assistant in September 2021 and as a PhD student in January 2022. Her current research interests include heterogeneous integration, near-field probe designs for core body temperature measurements applied to hyperthermia treatments of cancer.
