Allie Montgomery received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2023. While there, she worked in the Quantum Light Control group under the direction of Dr. Ravitej Uppu. Her projects focused on the generation of pairs of entangled Near-IR photons using non-linear optical processes. After graduating, she came to the University of Colorado to pursue a Ph.D. under the advising of Drs. Scarborough and Popovic. Her current research focuses on antenna arrays used to convert wireless RF power to DC power. She is also interested in antenna and MMIC design. In her free time, Allie enjoys fencing, reading, playing cello and bass, and making objectively pretty bad coffee.
