Alec Russell received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 2019. Following graduation he worked at Raytheon Tech. Collins Aerospace for 2 years in the RF and Power Amplifiers design group working on UHF receiver/exciters for airborne tactical radio. He joined the RF Group at the University of Colorado, Boulder in Fall 2021 to pursue his PhD. His research interests are in low noise MMIC design. His current project is on designing a low power, low phase noise oscillator MMIC for a miniaturized atomic clock.
