Manuel Pusch was a postdoctoral researcher in the Systems and Controls Group at CU Boulder under the supervision of Prof. Lucy Pao. He received his diploma in aerospace engineering from Technical University of Munich and his PhD in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg, which he did in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center. His research interests include modeling, control, and optimization of aeroelastic systems, flexible structures, and flight systems.  At CU Boulder, he was developing advanced methods for analyzing and controlling extreme-scale and floating wind turbines.
