Sam Becker
- Sam Becker is an electrical, computer, and energy engineering graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder.
- He grew up in Brookeville, Maryland, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Optics from the University of Rochester.
- Sam’s interest in optics began at Rochester through his coursework, and it grew during his research experiences working on deep space telescopes
- and optical coherence tomography. Outside of the lab, he plays Para Ice Hockey and enjoys reading, hiking, and more.
