Lange Simmons is a physics graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder. He grew up in Southern Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University cum laude with a BS in physics and mathematics. Lange's interest in optics came from his undergraduate research in a spectroscopy and laser cooling research group. In his free time, he likes to play board games, automate his apartment, and play with his dog.
