Gregory Krueper is a physics graduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder. He grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Irvine, with bachelor's degrees in applied physics and electrical engineering. His interest in optics began in using several optical diagnostics in an electrochemistry lab, and solidified with a senior thesis on measuring the absorption spectrum of molecular iodine. Hobbies include running, playing video games, hiking, and learning to play piano.
