Sam studied Physics and Computer science as an undergraduate student at North Carolina State University. Sam's research focuses on the development of novel autonomous multi-object tracking algorithms for ground-based telescopes. Other than his research, Sam enjoys the outdoors, whether he's hiking, skiing, playing soccer, or throwing a frisbee.
