A Brief Biography
I was born in Tehran and grew up in Ardabil, a city northwest of the Iran. I completed my undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in “Hydraulic Structures” from K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran. In 2012, I moved to the United States in order to pursue a Master of Science in “Structural Mechanics” and a Doctorate in “Earthquake Engineering” from University of Colorado at Boulder. In June 2015 I started my Post-Doctoral research under supervision of Professor Victor E. Saouma with emphasize on structural safety assessment of nuclear power plants and dam safety subjected to multi-hazard (e.g., aging and shaking). I also worked as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Colorado, Boulder, 2016-2021.
