Luca Corradini headshotLuca Corradini received the Laurea degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in industrial electronics from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. From 2008 to 2011 he was a postdoctoral Research Associate at the Colorado Power Electronics Center (CoPEC), University of Colorado at Boulder, USA.

Dr. Corradini has been Assistant Professor with the University of Padova, Italy, from 2011 to 2017. He has been Associate Professor at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova, Italy, since 2017, and at the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering of the University of Colorado Boulder, USA, since 2022.

Dr. Corradini is co-author of the textbook Digital Control of High-Frequency Switched-Mode Power Converters. His research interests in power electronics include digital control and modeling of switched-mode power converters, control techniques for dc-dc multi-level converters, modulation and control of bi-directional dc-dc converters, and power management solutions for energy harvesting systems.

Dr. Corradini received the second 2008 Prize Paper Award from the Industrial Power Converter Committee of the IEEE Industry Applications Society. He was General Chair of the 19th IEEE Workshop on Control and Modeling for Power Electronics (IEEE COMPEL 2018), held in Padova, Italy, on June 25–28, 2018. He is currently Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, and Chair of the Technical Committee 1 Control and Modeling for Power Electronics of the IEEE Power Electronics Society.
