Step 2: Meet with your advisor
Meet with your advisor to be sure you are on track to meet your academic goals and they will direct you to which courses you should take. They can show you how to run a degree audit and explain the various courses you can take to fill the degree requirements
Step 3: Familiarize yourself with the online catalog
Familiarize yourself with the online catalog at classes.colorado.edu, there are many ways to filter the search results in a way to align them with your degree audit.
Step 4: When it comes time to register, log into your Buff Portal
When it comes time to register, log into your Buff Portal and go to the registration tab on the left side. Make sure your courses are added from classes.colorado.edu and on the day of registration, enroll in the courses!
Important note on holds: A hold prevents you from taking some kind of action, whether that's registering for classes, getting proof of enrollment, receiving a financial aid refund, ordering a transcript or receiving a diploma. Make sure to check Buff Portal for details on how to get holds resolved. Contact your advisor if you have additional questions.
