Brandy attended Florida State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in humanities and a master’s degree in higher education student affairs. She loves working with college students and providing guidance and support as they focus on achieving their goals. Brandy has worked in a variety of academic advising and success coaching roles at Florida State University, Florida International University, and the Community College of Aurora before arriving at CU Boulder. She is thrilled to be in this exceptional place where talented students from around the world come to discover, to learn, and to become part of a community of thinkers and doers. Brandy is especially passionate about supporting international students as they adjust to life and culture as college students in the U.S. Brandy and her partner heard the call of the mountains during a ski trip and moved from Florida to Colorado in 2015. They love snow and spend their weekends skiing and snowboarding as much as possible. When they aren’t playing in the snow, they enjoy camping, performing arts, and live music (especially concerts at Red Rocks!).
