There are several options to show events from interests, event types, audiences, groups, and more. Review the main Events website to determine what works best for you and your audience. Once you have identified an interest, event type, audience, group or tag, you can add the new Localist Events block to your site.
Here are a few of the most commonly used central classifications:
- Academic Calendar: All dates and deadlines pertaining to registration, class add/drop, tuition and financial aid. The registrar's office is the only group allowed to use these filters.
- Featured Events: A selection of events covering cross interest and campus affairs use the Featured Events event type. See the Event Calendar FAQs to learn more about desinating an event as a feature event.
- Arts & Culture: Use the Interest filter to display all events tagged Arts & Culture. Other options our to display groups who have a art or culture focus, such as:

- CU Museum
- International Film Series

- Atlas Institute
- Entrepreneurial: Use the filter Entrepreneurial Community or consider adding the following groups:
- Fun & Entertainment: This filter is a great listing of the different fun and social events across campus.
- Business & Industry Community: This is an Audience filter for Business & Industry Community that can be used to pull in events related to this
- Lectures & Presentation: The Lecter/presentation event type is a perfect listing of the actively and lively discourse across campus.
