• Pre-Conference Get-Together (Thursday, March 28).  If you'd like to meet up with CUNY folks the night before the conference begins, join us at Bohemian Biergarten (2017 13th Street, downtown Boulder) for an informal get together.
    • Look for us in the back room starting at 6pm.
    • Thursday is all day happy hour!
  • Running Group!!  We've organized a psycholinguists' run (whatever that means!) on Saturday morning (March 30th)
    • Route is mapped on RunGo with turn-by-turn directions.  You may want to download the RunGo app, although the route is not complicated.
    • Meet in the Embassy Suites Lobby at 6:15am. Run starts at 6:30am sharp.
    • Please check the weather before traveling and pack layers if the forecast suggests it!  Weather here can be all over the place in March.
  • Conference Reception party on the evening of Saturday, March 30th at 6:30-8:30 PM at the Dairy Center (2590 Walnut Street, Boulder).
    • A two minute walk from the Conference Hotel.
    • If you did not select the party option at the time you registered for the conference, you can still join in the fun. Party tickets will be for sale at the registration desk (credit card only). Enjoy delicious hot and cold h’ors d'oeuvres catered by Boulder’s own Spice of Life catering, full bar (one drink of your choice on us), and art exhibits throughout the galleries. March is the month of photography at the Dairy Center, and the theme is Telling stories behind, through and in front of the camera. The Dairy Arts Center was founded in 1992 to provide cooperative workspaces for local artists and venues for live performance in Boulder County.  The building’s transformation from a milk-processing facility to a thriving multi-disciplinary arts hub is a nationally recognized example of constructive urban development and renewal. We find it one of the loveliest spaces in town, with a stunning renovation recently financed by the Boedecker Foundation (funded by the founder of Crocs, Inc.).
  • Meetup Saturday, March 30th, 8:30pm at West End Tavern after the Dairy Center Conference Reception.  This year we warmly remember Akira Omaki (University of Washington), a beloved member of the field and CUNY regular who died in August. As Akira loved bringing people together for good conversation around parsing, development, syntax, and scotch, a group of his friends would like to invite all CUNY attendees with interests in any of these areas to get together for a drink at the  after the reception on Saturday night.  Contact person: Ellen Lau (ellenlau@umd.edu).  West End Tavern is at 926 Pearl St. Downtown Boulder.
  • Meetup Sunday, March 31, 5pm after the last talk at Shine, across the street from the confernece hotel.
