Congratulations to Erica Wiener for winning the 2016 CEAS Outstanding Graduate for International Engagement award. Erica has been involved with Engineers Without Borders since arriving at CU Boulder as a transfer student in her sophomore year. She started as Secretary for the Nepal team, became the Program Manager for the team, and has been a Travel Team Member. In travelling to Nepal, Erica brought CU to the world through her work with the Namsaling Community Development Center, the Godak School, Scheer Memorial Hospital, and engaging students through water quality workshops and interviews about health and sanitation.
Academically, Erica has also been very successful with a high GPA and is in the Engineering Honors Program. Erica grew up in Boulder, CO.
