Marianne B. Holbert, AIA, is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Program in Environmental Design. She is an NCARB certified licensed architect with experience on a range of projects from award-winning net-zero projects and straw bale construction to high-end residential architecture. She is a teaching scholar in the Seed Grant Program for Innovative Teaching in the Environment and Sustainability.

With full professional proficiency in Italian, she leads the Urban Site Analysis and Design Rome Global Seminar.  Marianne is the recipient of multiple grants for her community outreach projects and was named Mentor of the Year in 2014 by the Colorado North Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
