Abby Mohlis, a landscape architecture major graduating with minors in ecology and evolutionary biology and business, plans to work with the Rocky Mountain Youth Corps this summer.

Tell us about your involvement and/or student leadership roles in and/or outside of ENVD.
I was a TA for Ecology in Design and ARCH 2100. I was a saxophone squad leader and marched saxophone for 4 years in the CU marching band, and also played in several other ensembles within the college of music. I was involved as a student leader and board member for my campus ministry.
What inspired you to come to ENVD when choosing your school?
I was looking for a creative industry to go into, and ENVD combined many of my interests into one.
What is one of the greatest experiences or lessons from your time at CU Boulder that you'll carry with you into the next chapter of your life?
Keep moving forward and keep iterating— there are always things that can be improved!
Based on what you know now, what is your best piece of advice for other students?
Networking and making connections with your peers, professors, and even guest reviewers can have a big impact on your future!
Describe one of your favorite memories.
The senior landscape capstone studio was a lot of the same people as our first freshman studio, so it was really fun to be back together for our last semester and to see how far we’ve all come.
What does graduating from college represent for you?
You can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
What are your plans beyond graduation?
This summer, I will be working as a conservation corps crew member with the Rocky Mountain Youth Corps
