Sarah Schwartzman Ramsey

Sarah Schwartzman Ramsey studies contemporary American literature with specializations in Jewish Studies, American religion, and gender and sexuality. Her dissertation spotlights Jewish American women’s novels of the last thirty years and considers how fiction becomes a site for meaningful, and underrecognized, religious thought and practice. Her recent published work can be found in Studies in American Jewish Literature and forthcoming in the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion and Shofar.
