few years ago, one of the first-graders whose classroom I used to volunteer in told me, “Miss Hanna, you should be a teacher because you’re good at teaching.” I decided to take her advice and am about to enter my junior year at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in English and Elementary Education. I have worked with kids of all different ages in a variety of settings for years and could go on and on about them, but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) do not have the space to do so here. I cannot wait to teach at the elementary level, where I want every child in my classroom to know that they are capable of great things and that each of their unique learning types is valid. For now, I am a typical college student who has an unhealthy habit of procrastinating, finds any excuse to DIY, and am on a mission to visit the Top 25 Ice Cream Shops in America.
