Etkin Kubalı Çamoğlu is a Turkish American writer and literary translator. She holds a PhD in English Literature and Creative Writing from Florida State University and an MFA in Creative Writing from University of Colorado, Boulder. Her stories have appeared in numerous journals including The Kenyon Review, Quarterly West, Meridian, Sonora Review, and Blackbird.

Etkin’s literary translations from Turkish include Turkish Tall Tales, a forthcoming collection of short stories by Memduh Şevket Esendal, to be published by Toronto based publishing house Translation Attached. The book has been awarded a full grant from the Turkish Ministry of Culture. Etkin's teaching and research center on literary translation, modern Turkish literature, and multilingual writing practices.
