Braden Savage

Braden Savage is an incoming MA in Literature at the University of Colorado Boulder. He graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo in 2024 with a BA in English and a certificate in creative writing. While at UH Hilo, he co-authored the paper "Posthumanism and the Search for Meaning in Luigi Serafini's Codex Seraphinianus." The paper was published by New Directions in the Humanities, and Braden presented it with co-authors at Sorbonne Université, Paris, in summer 2023.
From 2019-2021, Braden served as the editor-in-chief of Kanilehua, the campus's art and literary magazine. He also worked for a number of years as a writing tutor at the university. As an undergrad, Braden tended to focus his studies on deconstruction, phenomenology, and animal studies. His interests include modernism, postmodernism, feminist literature, and literary realism.
