2020

  • Hannah Glick's dissertation placed as a Top 10 National Finalist in the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. 

2019

  • Carly Schimmel, Don Bell-Souder, Vanessa Olivares, and Hannah Glick received 1st place for their poster entitled "Examining listening effort and cognition in adults with mild-moderate hearing loss using spectral analysis of EEG" at the Colorado Academy of Audiology Conference in Breckenridge, CO. 
  • The TACIT team received 2nd place for their poster entitled "Outcomes of aural habilitation therapy for children with hearing loss: Central auditory maturation and global language development"  at the Colorado Academy of Audiology Conference in Breckenridge, CO. 
  • Hannah Glick's dissertation received 1st Place at the Western Regional 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. 
  • Hannah Glick's dissertation received 1st Place and People's Choice Award in the University of Colorado 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition. 

2018

  • Lindsey Palumbo and Hannah Glick received 1st place for their poster entitled "Cortical neuroplasticity in adult single-sided deafness: Effects of cochlear implantation" at the Colorado Academy of Audiology Conference.
  • Jamie Falcone, Nina Harris, Don Bell-Souder, and Hannah Glick received 2nd place for their poster entitled "Central auditory development and language outcomes in children with hearing loss receiving aural habilitation: A preliminary study." at the Colorado Academy of Audiology Conference.

2017

  • Hannah Glick received a 2017 scholarship from the American Cochlear Implant Alliance to attend the 15th Symposium on Cochlear Implants in Children in San Franscisco, California. 

2016

  • Hannah Glick has been selected to receive the 2016 New Century Doctoral Scholarship Award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation. This prestigous scholarship is awarded to strong Ph.D. candidates who will pursue a future teacher-investigator career. 
  • Erin Duncan has been selected as a pre-doctoral trainee, funded under a National Institutes of Health T32 Instutitional Training Grant in Otolaryngology research at the University of Colorado-Denver.

2015

  • Dr. Rosemary J McKnight has been selected to receive a 2015 American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation Graduate Student Scholarship. This national scholarship is awarded to students entering or enrolled in master’s or doctoral programs of study. 
  • Hannah Glick has been selected as a pre-doctoral trainee through the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Colorado-Denver. Her research is supported by a 2-year National Institutes of Health Institutional Training Grant.
