Tiffany Lee is a research scientist at the University of Colorado Boulder School of Education. She focuses on science learning across settings and works with practitioners to support science learning and instruction in P-12 classrooms and out-of-school settings. Currently, she is working on the Research+Practice Collaboratory, an NSF-funded effort to engage researchers and practitioners around the country in an effort to address the long-standing gap between educational research and practice in STEM education. In a separate project funded by Lucas Education Research, she is working with John Bransford and Nancy Vye (LIFE Center, University of Washington) to develop teacher professional development materials related to a blended model of teaching and learning for Advanced Placement curricula. Prior to joining CU, she was the Director of Education at Teaching Channel, a not-for-profit organization developing web-based tools for teachers.
