Malerie Barnes

Malerie holds a B.A. in Psychology from Biola University and an M.A. in Educational Foundations, Policy and Practice from CU Boulder. She has been at CU Boulder as a staff member since 2011. She spent six years in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions where she worked with students from Colorado Springs and across the country as they navigated the college application process. She has worked extensively with top scholars and students who have overcome significant hurdles in order to pursue their college education.In 2016, she was a part of the team the implemented the CU Impact Scholarship. She has a passion for equity in college admissions and recruiting practices.
