BustED Pencils talk show: Dean Schultz explores the Education Deans for Justice and Equity group
Dean Kathy Schultz was recently featured on BustED Pencils, a 30-minute online talk show hosted by Tim Slekar, dean of the School of Education at Edgewood College in Madison, Wis. The show explores public education and “hard facts with a humorous twist” with guests who are highly respected education leaders.
Both Deans Slekar and Schultz are founding members of Education Deans for Justice and Equity. In this episode of BustED Pencils, Slekar and Schultz explore the new group and the education deans’ recently released Declaration of Principles calling on national leaders to do more to improve public education and advance democratic values in U.S. public schools.
