The finish line is in sight and the end of the academic year is almost here! With finals around the corner and many students planning to move soon, here’s a checklist to help you wrap up the end of the year. 

Browse the showcase of projects and ideas addressing climate and sustainability challenges from students across the various CU Boulder colleges. Up to 40 student projects will compete for $5,000 in cash prizes. Stop by anytime between 1-4 p.m. to browse and vote for your favorite.  The audience choice prize is worth $500.  All winners will be announced at 4 p.m.

Help reduce move-out waste in the University Hill neighborhood! We're piloting a new program to guide students in sorting their items—landfill, reuse, or hard-to-recycle—and we need volunteers to assist at drop-off stations and engage with neighbors.

The Campus Sustainability Leadership Team convened Wednesday, April 2, to discuss the following topics:

Four novel research projects are being funded by the Climate Innovation Collaboratory (CIC), an ongoing alliance between Deloitte Consulting LLP and CU Boulder.

An Earth Science outreach event open to the public - free, fun, and prizes!

Climate adaptation efforts don’t always help everyone—learn how some strategies can unintentionally worsen inequities, and why inclusive, community-centered planning matters.

Watch top entrepreneurs pitch their innovative business ventures live to a panel of judges and compete for a share of $325,000!

Two professional comedians from New York City will headline the event interspersed with brief sketch comedy by students from the CU Creative Climate Communication course. Invite friends and family to this free Earth Day show at the Boulder Theater! Live music to follow. Get more information.
