Assistant Director

Ulises joined Disability Services as the Graduate Assistant/Flex Coordinator in July 2019 and currently serves as the Assistant Director.

Education and experience

Ulises completed an Associate of Science from Colorado Northwestern Community College. He also completed both a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies & Humanities and a Master of Arts in Higher Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. During his time at CU Boulder, he has held various positions in Housing & Dining, Academic Advising and Academic Coaching.

Areas of interest

Ulises' areas of interest include advocacy, diversity, equity and inclusion, universal design, mental health, student and identity development, summer bridge programming, LGBTQ+ topics and international affairs. Outside the office, Ulises enjoys tennis, volleyball, hiking, paddle boarding, painting, movies and television shows, video games, sporting events, concerts, and traveling the world.
