DEI Goal 3: Academic and administrative units will collaborate to support community building initiatives (existing and new), communicate the imperative of advancing diversity, equity and inclusion, and to enhance everyone’s sense of belonging.

Action Plan 1

Improve staff and faculty dynamics by building a greater understanding of employees’ roles and responsibilities. This includes faculty and staff presentations regarding employee dynamics and culture, facilitation of staff and faculty focus groups and development of recommendations for change for college leadership.

Leeds will improve staff connection and belonging by creating unit-sponsored activities.

Action Plan 3

Raise awareness of campus climate results for faculty-to-faculty climate to create change through presentations to division chairs, faculty meetings and gathering recommendations for improving climate.
