All employees will demonstrate increases in diversity, equity and inclusion skills and a capacity to better meet the needs of the university's diverse community of students, faculty and staff, specifically including the well-being of marginalized communities.

Assessment

  • Conducted training needs assessment with HW and linked results with findings from other assessments to begin developing a training curriculum in FA24.
  • Participants in the HW training on evaluating your employees DEI performance plan goals reported: 
    • Higher confidence conducting evaluation conversations for DEI goals.
    • The desire for continued, longer, more in depth trainings related to DEI
  • Conducting second bi-annual organizational assessment in September/October of 2024. 
    • Will assess perception of staff representation, inclusive campus relationships, skill development in out team, diverse feedback, understanding of privilege and oppression, and intent to reduce/eliminate oppressive/exclusive systems.
